3 Liter Oak Aging Barrel with Stand, Bung & Spigot, Wooden Aging Cask

About this barrel

The title names a stand, bung and spigot, so this 3 liter oak aging barrel lets you age and serve from the same wooden cask. An independent eBay seller lists it new at $139.86. Three liters holds about four standard bottles, which is a handy batch size for whiskey, rum, wine or flavored spirits.

Why does a spigot matter on a small aging barrel?

You can pour a taste without pulling the bung. That makes it easy to check how it's going and stop before the oak gets too strong, which happens quickly in a cask this small.

• Fill it with water first and let the staves swell. Tighten the spigot if it drips.
• The char or toast level isn't given, so check with the seller.
• Keep it away from heat and direct sun.
• Your purchase is covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
