3L Wine Barrel with Stand .new.Whiskey Barrel Dispenser Bourbon Barrel new.

About this barrel

One barrel, several uses. This 3L wine barrel with stand is also sold as a whiskey and bourbon barrel dispenser, and an independent eBay seller lists it new at $139.00. You can use it to mellow up to four bottles' worth of spirit, or just to pour wine at the table.

Can a 3L wine barrel also age whiskey?

Yes, but flavors carry over from one fill to the next. Wine first and then whiskey gives the whiskey a wine-cask finish that some people love. Going from whiskey to wine is harder to undo.

• Fill it with water so the wood swells before you add anything else.
• Check the listing to see if a spigot and bung are included.
• The char or toast level isn't listed, so ask before you buy.
• Your purchase is covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.

The stand lets it sit neatly on a counter or bar cart.
