350 Centiliters 3.5 L Venezuelan Antique Rum Barrel Port Wine Rye Whiskey Keg

About this barrel

This 3.5 L Venezuelan antique rum barrel (350 centiliters) is a small oak keg the seller pitches for port, rye whiskey or rum. The listing doesn't state a condition, so read the description and look at every photo before you buy.

Can an antique rum keg still be used for aging?

Possibly, but an old barrel may have dried out. Soaking it in water will show whether the staves still seal. If they don't, it still makes a good shelf piece.

• Origin: described as Venezuelan, so ask the seller what they know about its history.
• Interior: ask what it held before and whether it was charred.
• Fittings: check the photos for a bung, tap or stand.
• Protection: covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.

A compact piece for rum collectors and anyone decorating a home bar.
