1-Liter American Oak Wħiskęy Aging Barrel - Craft Your Unique Spirit

About this barrel

A 1 liter American oak whiskey barrel is about as small as aging gets, and that's the appeal: results show up quickly, and about a bottle's worth of spirit is all you risk. This new barrel is listed by an independent eBay seller at $53.36 and pitched for crafting your own unique spirit. It's a tidy fit for a desk or kitchen shelf.

How long should whiskey stay in a 1 liter American oak whiskey barrel?

Mini barrels have a high wood-to-liquid ratio, so start tasting within the first week or so. Pull the spirit once the flavor balances rather than following a set schedule.

• Soak with water first, since tiny barrels can seep until the staves swell.
• Try unaged white whiskey, rum or a cocktail batch for a quick experiment.
• Char level and accessories aren't stated, so check the description.
• Covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
