2 Liter Oak Whiskey or Wine Barrel

About this barrel

Whether you want whiskey or wine with an oak edge, a 2 liter oak whiskey barrel holds a batch big enough to share, and you won't wait long for results. This one is listed as new with a simple title, so the photos are your best guide to the finish and fittings.

Whiskey or wine: what works best in a 2 liter barrel?

Both. Spirits can stay for weeks, while wine picks up oak quickly and usually needs a shorter rest. Many people keep one barrel for one drink so flavors stay clean.

• Capacity: 2 liters is close to three standard 750 ml bottles.
• Setup: swell it with water until the seams stop dripping.
• Details to confirm: the char or toast level, and whether a stand, spigot and bung are included.
• Storage: keep it full between batches so the wood stays tight.
