Aimee_JL 1.5L Whiskey Barrel Dispenser Oak Aging Barrels Home Decanter Red Wine

About this barrel

The Aimee_JL 1.5L whiskey barrel dispenser is both an oak aging barrel and a home decanter, so a bottle of red wine or whiskey can rest in it and pour from it. It's listed as new and small enough for a kitchen counter or bar cart.

Can you age red wine in a 1.5 liter oak barrel?

Yes, for short stays. Small casks give off oak flavor fast, so a few days to a couple of weeks is often enough for wine. Taste often.

• Size: 1.5 liters holds about two standard 750 ml bottles.
• Seasoning: soak it with water until the wood seals before the first fill.
• Spirits: whiskey and rum can stay in longer than wine.
• Check the listing: confirm the tap, stand and lid shown in the photos are included.
