30L Vintage Wood Wine Barrel Dispenser for Beer Brandy Tequila Whiskey Rum Port

About this barrel

This vintage wood barrel dispenser combines an old-cellar look with a working 30L capacity. An independent eBay seller lists it new at $111.27, slightly less than several nearly identical listings. The listing names beer, brandy, tequila, whiskey, rum and port.

Can a vintage wood barrel dispenser both age and pour?

Yes, and that's the main appeal. Let the spirit rest, then pour straight from the tap once it tastes right, with no need to bottle it first.

• Similar 30L barrels sell at slightly different prices, so compare the photos to make sure you're getting the same build.
• Swell it with water ahead of time to seal the joints.
• Ask the seller about the char level if it matters for your recipe.
• Set it on a stable, level surface before filling.
