30L Vintage Wood Wine Barrel Dispenser for Beer Brandy Tequila Whiskey Rum Port

About this barrel

If you're shopping for a 30 liter wine barrel dispenser, this one has a vintage, old-cellar style but is brand-new. The oak barrel holds roughly eight gallons, so it can anchor a home bar, a wine corner or an outdoor party.

Can a large wooden wine barrel be used for beer?

The seller lists it for beer as well as for wine, brandy, tequila, whiskey, rum and port. If you fill it with beer, serve it fresh instead of storing it long-term. Wine and spirits are better candidates for longer, slower aging in a cask this size.

• Soak it in water first and check the seams for seepage before the first fill.
• Keep it somewhere cool and out of sunlight.
• Check the photos for the spigot and base before you buy.
• Empty and rinse it before switching to a different drink.
