Antique Vintage Primitive 14" Wine Rum Wood Barrel Keg Cast Iron 4 Bands

About this barrel

Four cast iron bands wrap this antique primitive 14-inch wood barrel keg, a wine and rum style piece. An independent eBay seller lists it at $139.99. The condition isn't given, which is common with primitive antiques, so look closely at the photos.

Is a 14 inch antique barrel keg good for decor?

At 14 inches, it can sit on the floor next to a fireplace, but it's also small enough for a sideboard or bar top. The iron bands and old wood give it a farmhouse look.

• Check whether the 14 inches is the height or the width.
• Look for rust on the bands and gaps or cracks in the staves.
• Ask about the bung hole and any markings.
• Your purchase is covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.

It's best for display, not for holding liquid.
