old 1955 mini French PH. FOULON OAK & COPPER banded WINE barrel CASK w stand MCM

About this barrel

This 1955 mini French oak wine barrel marked PH. FOULON has oak staves, copper bands and its own stand. That mix suits a mid-century modern bar cart or shelf. The seller lists it as used, so expect a piece with some history, not a showroom finish.

Is a vintage French oak wine cask like this meant for aging or display?

It is listed as a vintage piece, so most buyers will use it as decor. If you want to fill it, ask the seller whether it still holds liquid before you buy.

• Capacity: the listing doesn't give the volume, so check the photos or message the seller.
• Copper bands: look closely at the photos for patina, dents or loose hoops.
• Stand included: check that it matches the barrel and sits level.
• Buyer protection: covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.

A small, dated French accent for anyone who collects MCM barware.
