Authentic Used Oak Wine Cask

About this barrel

If you want a real used oak wine cask rather than a decorative reproduction, this listing is worth a look. The seller describes it as authentic, and it's priced at $149.00.

How do you check a used oak wine cask before buying?

The title doesn't give size or history, so rely on the photos and ask the seller questions.

• Ask for the capacity or dimensions and where the cask was used before.
• Look for cracked staves, loose hoops or mold on the heads.
• Decide how you'll use it: for display, as a furniture build, or refilled with wine or vinegar after you swell it with water.
• Covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.

A wine cask can anchor a corner of a cellar, tasting room or patio with old-world style.
