ANTIQUE OAK WHISKEY BARREL

About this barrel

The listing title keeps it simple: an antique oak whiskey barrel for $350.00, with the condition left unspecified. With so few details up front, research this one through the photos and a message to the seller before you commit.

What should you ask about an antique oak whiskey barrel?

Ask about age, origin and size. A short title can hide an interesting piece, but you need the facts to judge the price.

• Age and history: is there a known distillery, maker or date?
• Dimensions: ask for height, diameter and estimated capacity.
• Condition: check for cracks, loose hoops, a missing bung or earlier repairs.
• Intended use: antique barrels are usually display pieces, so don't assume this one will hold liquid.

As decor, it suits a rustic dining room, a bar corner or an entryway. Buying on eBay includes the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
