2L Oak Aging Barrel with Stand, Bung & Spigot - Mini Whiskey Barrel for Home Dis

About this barrel

This 2L oak aging barrel with stand, bung and spigot is a mini whiskey barrel for home distilling, listed new. All three pieces are included. You can fill it, plug it and pour off a sample whenever you want to check on it.

Why does a spigot matter on a mini whiskey barrel?

A spigot lets you taste without pulling the bung, so less air gets in and you make less mess. Small barrels need frequent tasting, and the spigot makes that easy.

• Charred or not: the title doesn't say, so check the description.
• Seal test: soak it with water first and watch where the spigot meets the barrel for drips.
• Capacity: 2 liters is a bit under three 750 ml bottles.
• Placement: the stand keeps it off the counter and the spigot at pouring height.
