Man Can 1 Liter American White Oak Aging Barrel Whiskey Making Kit

About this barrel

The Man Can 1 liter American white oak aging barrel kit is for people who want to age their own whiskey without buying a big cask. It's listed new. Check the listing for exactly what comes in the kit.

How long should whiskey sit in a 1 liter barrel?

Not long compared with a distillery. Tiny barrels work quickly, so start tasting in the first week and bottle it when the oak flavor tastes right to you.

• Before use: fill it with water so the wood swells and seals.
• Kit check: look in the description for a stand, spigot, bung or any extras.
• Char: the title doesn't say.
• Second fills: later batches usually pick up oak flavor more slowly.
