Mini Engraved Charred American White Oak Aging Barrel 20 Liter W/ Wood Stand

About this barrel

This charred American white oak aging barrel holds 20 liters, comes engraved and includes a wood stand, all for $329.68 new. The title calls it a mini barrel, though at 20L it sits at the larger end of small-batch sizes.

Why choose a charred white oak barrel for aging whiskey?

Char gives whiskey and rum color plus caramel, vanilla and toasty notes. In a 20L barrel this happens steadily, so you can sample monthly and pull the spirit when it tastes right.

• Engraving: check whether the design is fixed or can be customized.
• Char level: the title says charred, so ask the seller which level.
• Stand: it's included, so the barrel is ready for a counter or shelf.
• Capacity: about 26 standard 750 ml bottles.
