Black Swan Cooperage 12 Gallon Oak Whiskey Barrel Read

About this barrel

This Black Swan Cooperage 12 gallon whiskey barrel comes with a one-word warning in its title: 'Read.' It's listed for parts or not working at $300, so think of it as a project, not a cask that's ready to fill.

Is a for-parts Black Swan Cooperage whiskey barrel still useful?

Possibly. A cask of about 45 liters that won't hold liquid can still become decor, a planter base or a repair project for a cooper. Whether it can age spirits again depends on the problem the seller describes.

• Read the notes: the title asks you to, and the defect isn't in our data.
• Revival attempt: filling it with water may show where it leaks. There's no promise it will seal.
• Side-by-side: a near-identical Black Swan 12 gallon listing is also priced at $300, so compare the two.
• Fallback: covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
