About this barrel
Old wine advertising has a warmth that new signs can't match. This vintage Cresta Blanca sherry barrel, labeled for Triple Cream Sherry and built in oak with brass, is the kind of piece that once sat on a liquor store counter or a back bar.
Where does a vintage Cresta Blanca sherry barrel look best?
On a bar cart, a sideboard or a wine cellar shelf, anywhere the brass can catch the light. It's a decorative advertising piece, so treat it as display rather than storage.
- Materials: oak and brass. Check the photos for tarnish or loose fittings.
- Condition: used. Look for scuffs and lettering wear you can live with.
- Size: not given. Ask the seller for measurements before choosing a spot.
- Collectors: a good fit for California wine history or vintage barware collections.
