Vintage Coopered Oak Miniature Wood Keg Barrel with Brass Bands

About this barrel

Coopering is the traditional craft of building barrels from shaped staves held by hoops. This vintage miniature oak keg with brass bands shows that craft at a smaller scale. The brass gives it a warmer look than standard iron hoops.

Is a miniature coopered keg functional or decorative?

Most vintage miniatures are kept for display. If you want to fill it, ask the seller whether it holds liquid. Plan to swell it with water first, and only use it if it seals completely.

• Condition: not stated in the listing. Ask the seller directly and study the photos.
