5L Oak Aging Barrels Whiskey Barrel Dispenser Wine Bucket No Leak for Storage...

About this barrel

Shopping for a 5L oak aging barrel that can also work as a dispenser? This new oak cask is sold for whiskey, wine and general storage, and the seller's title calls it no-leak. At $82.87, it's a good size for home batches.

Is a 5 liter barrel a good size for aging whiskey at home?

For many hobbyists, yes. A 5-liter cask holds about six and a half standard 750 ml bottles. It ages faster than a full-size barrel but slower than 1–2 liter minis, which gives you more control over flavor.

• Fill it with water and let the wood swell for several days, even with the no-leak claim.
• Check the listing to see whether a stand, spigot or bung is included.
• Use it for whiskey, red wine or a homemade vinegar project.
• Your order is covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.

A practical step up for anyone who has outgrown a mini barrel.
