Agorà Botti Wooden Barrel With Brass Spigot 10 L White Painted Oak

About this barrel

The Agorà Botti 10L white painted oak barrel combines a light, clean finish with a brass spigot. It suits kitchens and bars where a dark cask would feel heavy.

Can a 10L white painted oak barrel still age spirits?

Paint usually goes on the outside only, but check the listing to make sure the interior is bare oak and to see whether it's toasted or charred. At 10 liters, it ages faster than a 20L barrel because more of the liquid touches wood.

• Swell it with water before the first fill, and watch the spigot for drips.
• The brass spigot makes pouring and sampling easy.
• It's a compact size: about 2.6 gallons, or roughly 13 standard bottles.
• Think of it for wine, spirits or vinegar, or simply as a display piece.
