Oak barrels, 5L, true oak quality

About this barrel

Good care makes all the difference with any 5L oak barrel, including this new one, listed as "true oak quality" for $120.69. Here's how to get it ready and keep it in good shape for aging spirits or wine.

How do you prepare a 5L oak barrel before first use?

Rinse it, fill it with clean water and let it sit until the leaks stop, which usually takes a few days. Then drain it and add your spirit or wine right away so the wood stays swollen.

• Store it away from heat and direct sun to reduce evaporation.
• Keep it filled between batches instead of letting it dry out.
• Our data doesn't list a stand, spigot or char level, so check the description.
• Covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.

With good care, one barrel can last through many batches.
