5L true oak barrel, amazing quality

About this barrel

Step up from mini casks with this 5 liter oak barrel, listed new at $120.69. Five liters holds about six and a half standard bottles, so one fill gives you enough to share.

Does a 5L oak barrel age slower than a mini barrel?

Yes. A 5L barrel has less wood contact per liter than a 1 to 3L barrel, so it pulls flavor more gradually. That makes it easier to manage and less likely to make your spirit too oaky.

• The seller describes it as "true oak" and "amazing quality." Check the listing for details like char, a stand and a spigot.
• Swell it with water for a few days before filling.
• It works for whiskey, rum, wine or vinegar.
• Covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.

A good size if you've outgrown a mini barrel and want bigger batches without a full-size cask.
