Best Oak barrels, 5L, top quality

About this barrel

A 5L oak aging barrel is a flexible choice if you want to use the same wood for more than one hobby. This new listing, titled "Best Oak barrels, 5L, top quality," is priced at $120.69.

What can you age in a 5 liter oak barrel besides whiskey?

Plenty. Wine, beer and vinegar all pick up flavor from oak. A common order is spirits first, then wine or beer, and finally vinegar once the wood has given up most of its flavor.

• "Top quality" is the seller's claim, so check the photos and description for how it's built.
• Before the first use, fill it with water until the staves swell tight.
• Keep the barrel full between batches so it doesn't dry out.
• Covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.

For homebrewers, a 5L barrel is a manageable size for testing oak-aged or sour beers before scaling up.
