20L Vertical Wooden Wine Barrel w/ Faucet&Bracket for storing whiskey, rum, brandy

About this barrel

Planning a party batch or a slow-sipping project? A 20L vertical wine barrel holds roughly 5.3 gallons in an upright footprint. Per the title, this new oak version comes with a faucet and bracket. The seller pitches it for whiskey, rum and brandy, and it also makes a striking bar-corner centerpiece.

Vertical vs. horizontal: why choose an upright oak barrel?

An upright barrel usually needs less counter depth than one lying on a cradle, which helps on narrow bars and shelves.

• Before use, fill it with water and wait for any leaks to seal as the wood swells.
• Mid-size casks age more gently than minis, giving you a wider window to taste.
• Interior char or toast isn't specified, so ask the seller.
• Measure your shelf or stand space, since dimensions aren't in the title.
