10L Barrel Cask Wooden Storager For Wine Brandy Whiskey Beer Dispenser Keg

About this barrel

Brandy lovers, take note. This new 10 liter wooden barrel is made of oak and listed for brandy, wine, whiskey and beer, and the title says it works as a dispenser keg. It's a step up from tabletop minis when you want more on hand to pour.

Why age brandy in a 10L cask instead of a mini?

A larger barrel works more gently, so the fruit notes stay bright while the oak builds over time. It also means fewer refills.

• Fill it with water and wait a day or more, so the staves swell and seal.
• Start with a young brandy and taste it monthly to track progress.
• Use the dispenser for easy serving at gatherings, and check the tap details in the listing.
• Keep it away from heat and direct sun to limit evaporation.
