Vintage French Oak Miniature Wine Barrel grapevine Root 6 Cups P Foulon MOF 1955

About this barrel

Part sculpture and part serving set, this vintage French oak miniature wine barrel comes with a grapevine root and six cups. The title mentions P Foulon, MOF and 1955. An independent eBay seller lists it used at $600.

What should collectors check on a P Foulon miniature barrel set?

Ask the seller to explain the markings, because the title is the only source for them. Signatures, stamps or paperwork can help you judge what you're buying.

• Confirm that all six cups are included and note any chips or cracks.
• Ask about the barrel's size and whether it ever held liquid.
• Check how the grapevine root is attached and whether the piece sits steady.
• Ask for close-up photos of any MOF or maker's marks.

It would make a good conversation piece on a wine lover's shelf or sideboard. The purchase is covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
