What should you ask about an antique oak keg with no condition listed?

The condition field is blank, so you'll have to rely on the photos and description. Message the seller before buying to fill in what's missing.

• Ask for the height, diameter and weight.
• Ask whether the iron hoops are tight and how much rust there is.
• Check for cracked staves, missing ends or old repairs.
• Find out whether it's for display only or has ever held liquid.

Oak with iron hoops adds warm texture to a shelf, a corner or a hearth. Once you have answers to these questions, you can decide with confidence. The sale is covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
