2 Liter Mini-Oak Tequila/Whiskey Barrel

About this barrel

Turning a bottle of blanco into something close to a homemade reposado is a favorite use for a 2 liter mini oak tequila barrel. This new one is sold for tequila or whiskey, priced at $74.99.

How long should tequila rest in a 2 liter oak barrel?

Not long. In a barrel this small, oak flavor builds quickly. Start tasting within days and pull the tequila when you like it.

• Fill it with water first and let the wood swell until it stops weeping.
• The title doesn't mention charring or toasting. Check the listing description.
• Check whether a stand, spigot and bung are included.
• It also works for rum, barrel-aged cocktails or a small batch of vinegar.
