What does used bourbon cask mean for this listing?

The title calls it a used American oak bourbon cask. Ask the seller whether that means the wood was seasoned with bourbon or that this unit has been filled before. Because it's open box, read the seller's notes and study the photos to see what's included.

• Stainless shell outside, American oak inside, per the title.
• At 1.5 liters, expect a fast aging pace.
• Ask about cleaning and prep steps before the first fill.
