About this barrel
For brothers and alumni, a vintage Delta Tau Delta fraternity keg from 1963 is chapter history you can set on a mantel. This used oak keg has the DTD name and date in its title, which makes it a strong gift for a reunion, a milestone or a chapter house lounge.
How can I tell if this DTD frat keg is authentic?
The seller calls it authentic, but you should check that yourself. Zoom in on the photos for painted crests, dates and wear that fit its age. Message the seller about where it came from before you bid.
- Capacity: not listed. Ask for the measurements if you have a specific shelf or display case in mind.
- Condition: used. Expect age marks and check the hoops and staves.
- Best use: display only. Don't plan to fill a 60-year-old keg with drinks.
- Gift angle: a good pick for Delt alumni events or a chapter anniversary.
