VINTAGE HAND CARVED OAK WOOD BACARDI RUM BARREL WITH BAT WINGS STAND

About this barrel

Hand carving sets this vintage Bacardi rum barrel apart. According to the seller's title, the oak barrel sits on a stand shaped like bat wings. It's listed as used for $1,499.99.

Is a hand carved Bacardi rum barrel with a stand worth it for a home bar?

If you want a branded rum piece that works as sculpture as much as a barrel, a carved stand adds presence on a back bar or console. Its value depends on condition and the quality of the carving, so judge it from the photos.

• Ask whether the stand and barrel are one piece or separate.
• Request the overall height and width, since the size isn't given.
• Dust the carved details with a soft brush rather than a wet cloth.
• The eBay Money Back Guarantee covers your purchase.

Pair it with tiki glassware or vintage rum bottles for a themed display.
