TARU HOLIC Oak Aging Barrel Bottle 1L Whiskey Wine Medium Char Japan

About this barrel

A TARU HOLIC 1L oak aging barrel suits drinkers who want to see color and flavor change in weeks, not years. This bottle-style cask from Japan has a medium char. An independent eBay seller lists it new at $320.

How fast does a 1 liter oak aging barrel work?

Very fast. In a small barrel, more of the spirit touches the wood. That means a 1L cask can flavor whiskey or wine much sooner than a full-size barrel. Taste it early and often so it doesn't pick up too much oak.

• Medium char: sits between a light toast and a heavy char, which works well for finishing whiskey.
• Prep: fill it with water first so the oak swells and you can spot any seeps.
• Missing details: what's included and the exact dimensions aren't in the listing data, so check the photos and description.
• Buyer protection: covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.

A good fit for home blenders, cocktail fans and anyone who wants to try barrel aging on a desk or shelf.
