About this barrel

How fast does a 3 liter Jack Daniels barrel age spirits?

Quickly. In a small barrel, more of the liquid touches wood, so start tasting about once a week instead of waiting months.

• Swell it first: fill it with warm water and let the staves tighten before you add spirit.
• Ask about char: the title doesn't give a char level, so check the listing or message the seller.
• Look at the branding: check the photos to see how the name appears on the head.
• Size math: 3L holds about four standard 750 ml bottles.

A fun gift for a whiskey fan, and the purchase is covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
