Mini Whiskey Barrel Keg Whisky Cask 27 fl oz Alcohol Dispenser Dashing Fine Gift

About this barrel

Want to add oak to a single bottle of bourbon, or give a bar gift that actually gets used? This new mini whiskey barrel keg holds 27 fl oz, slightly more than a 750 ml bottle. It works both as a whisky cask and as a dispenser for pouring at the table.

What can you put in a mini whiskey barrel keg?

Whiskey and rum are the classics, but small oak kegs also work for batched cocktails like Manhattans, or for aging vinegar.

• First step: fill it with warm water and wait for the oak to swell shut.
• Watch the clock: mini kegs work fast, so start tasting after a few days.
• Unknowns: the listing doesn't detail the char level or accessories, so check the photos.
• Upkeep: keep it filled between batches so the wood doesn't dry out.
