About this barrel
A United States Navy oak aging barrel makes a fitting centerpiece for a sailor's home bar or a nautical-themed den. This whiskey keg dispenser is listed as open box. The title mentions a liter, but the size field doesn't give a number, so check the capacity in the description.
What's a good Navy gift for a whiskey drinker?
A themed oak barrel works for retirements, reenlistments and the Navy birthday. It's something they'll actually use, not just put on a shelf.
- Capacity: confirm whether it's a 1 liter barrel before you plan a batch.
- First fill: swell the barrel with water to seal the staves.
- Open box: check the photos for the stand, spigot and bung.
- Flavor: small casks age fast, so taste often so the oak doesn't take over.
