VINTAGE French Oak Wood & Brass Wine Barrel Keg Decanter UNTESTED

About this barrel

Brass accents against French oak give this vintage French oak wine barrel decanter an old-world look that suits a sideboard or bar cabinet. An independent eBay seller lists it used at $50.00 and labels it untested, which is worth taking at face value.

Can I still pour from a vintage French oak wine barrel decanter?

"Untested" usually means the seller hasn't checked whether it holds liquid or whether the fittings work. Plan on display first, and only try filling after a water test.

• Capacity isn't given, so look for dimensions in the listing.
• Examine photos of the brass for tarnish, dents or missing parts.
• If you do fill it, swell with water first and watch for seepage.
• Covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.

It also makes a distinctive gift for a wine lover who appreciates vintage barware.
