Vintage Miniature Oak Wooden Barrel 1 Gallon Whiskey Cask Keg Stamped 1 P Barwar

About this barrel

This vintage 1 gallon oak whiskey barrel is a used miniature cask stamped 1 P and marked Barwar. An independent eBay seller offers it for $85.00. At about 3.8 liters, it's a collectible size that still fits on a bar shelf or mantel.

Can you still use a vintage oak cask for aging?

Maybe, but think of it as decor first. Older barrels can dry out over the years, so condition matters a lot. Look closely at the photos and read the description before you plan to fill it.

• Ask the seller whether it still holds liquid or has been stored dry.
• If you want to use it, soak it with water and check for leaks before adding spirits.
• The stamp and markings add character for people who collect barware.
• Look for the hoops, bung hole and any spigot in the images.

Used items still fall under the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
