What can you age in a mini whiskey barrel?

Whiskey is the usual choice, but rum, brandy, tequila, batched cocktails and even vinegar all pick up oak flavor. Rinse it well before you switch from one to another.

• The spigot lets you taste a sample without pulling the bung.
• Fill it with water for a few days until it holds without dripping.
• One liter ages fast, so start tasting within the first week.
• The title doesn't list a char level, so check the description.
