2 LITER BOURBON Whiskey Moonshine Prepped OAK BARREL Med Char 3 + spigot/plug

About this barrel

This 2 liter oak barrel for bourbon, whiskey or moonshine comes new and listed as prepped, with a medium #3 char plus a spigot and plug, for $44. It's a compact way to give white whiskey or a young bourbon some barrel color and flavor right on your kitchen counter.

How fast does a 2L charred oak barrel age spirits?

Fast. Small barrels have more wood touching each ounce of liquid, so a 2 liter cask works much faster than a full-size one. Start tasting within the first couple of weeks.

• Char level: a medium #3 char balances caramel sweetness with oak bite.
• Prepped: check the listing to see what prep was done, and swell it with water if it weeps.
• Included: a spigot and plug, per the title. Check whether a stand comes too.
• Also good for: rum, tequila or homemade vinegar.

A good first barrel for home aging. It's covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
