Rare Seattle Seahawks 2 Liter Oak Whiskey / Wine Barrel With Stand/Rack & Spigot

About this barrel

This Seattle Seahawks 2 liter oak barrel works as a whiskey or wine dispenser and as team decor for a 12th Man game room. It's listed used at $100. The title says it comes with a stand or rack and a spigot, and calls it rare.

Can a used Seahawks barrel still age whiskey?

Often, yes, if the wood is in good shape. A used barrel can dry out, so fill it with water and watch for leaks before adding any spirit.

• Read the description for the barrel's condition and what it was used for before.
• Look closely at the logo or graphics for fading or scratches.
• Whatever it held before can affect the taste. Ask the seller if you're not sure.
• It still looks good on display even if you never fill it.
