Vintage HENNESSY VSOP Promo Advertising Mini Oak Barrel Cask 1966

About this barrel

Cognac collectors look for brand advertising pieces like this vintage Hennessy VSOP mini barrel. The title dates this promotional oak cask to 1966. An independent eBay seller lists it used at $29.75.

How can I learn more about a vintage Hennessy VSOP mini barrel's age?

Start with the photos and description, then ask the seller what the 1966 date is based on. Markings, labels or paperwork can help.

• Think of it as advertising memorabilia to display, not a cask for aging.
• Check the pictures for cracks, loose hoops or missing parts.
• The size isn't given, so ask for the dimensions if you're planning shelf space.
• It goes well with other cognac or bar advertising pieces.
