What should collectors check on a Century of Progress souvenir keg?

Markings matter most. Look for the event name and date on the barrel itself, then weigh any wear against the price.

• Lettering: confirm that 'Century of Progress,' '1933' or 'Chicago' are clearly visible in the photos.
• Condition: it's used, and a piece from 1933 will show its age. Check for cracks, loose hoops or missing parts.
• Size: not listed, so ask the seller for dimensions.
• Use: display only. Don't fill an antique souvenir with drinks.

It's a conversation piece for Chicago history fans, and it's covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
