Red Head Barrels - 3 L Premium Distillery-Grade Oak Barrels for Aging Whiskey,

About this barrel

The seller describes these Red Head Barrels 3 L barrels as premium, distillery-grade oak for aging whiskey, and this one is listed new. If you want a mini oak barrel for real aging rather than shelf decor, this type belongs on your list.

Will a 3L oak barrel for aging whiskey change the flavor fast?

Yes, much faster than a full-size cask. A 3 liter barrel has a lot of wood for the amount of liquid, so color and oak flavor build quickly. Taste it about once a week and bottle it when you like the flavor.

• The title is cut off, so open the listing to find the char level and what accessories come with it.
• Fill it with water to swell the wood before the first use.
• You can reuse it. Later batches age more slowly and gently.
• Covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
