Vintage European Handcrafted Wooden Whiskey Beer Barrel Keg w/ Tap & Stand 11"

About this barrel

This vintage wooden whiskey barrel keg with tap and stand is a handcrafted European piece listed at 11". It's made of oak and sold used for $64.97 by an independent eBay seller. It's small enough for a bar shelf and adds old-world character to a home pub or kitchen counter.

Can a vintage oak barrel keg with a tap still hold liquid?

Possibly, but treat it as decor first. Older oak can dry out and shrink. If you want to pour from it, ask the seller whether it has held liquids, and test it with water for leaks before you trust it with whiskey or beer.

• Size: confirm whether 11" is the height or the length, and check the capacity.
• Tap: look at the photos to see the condition and fit of the spigot.
• Stand: check that it sits level and comes with the keg as shown.
• Wear: look over marks, hoops and finish on this pre-owned piece.
