2L Distillery Grade Charred Oak Aging Barrel for Whiskey, Rum & Wine

About this barrel

The seller calls it distillery grade. This 2L charred oak aging barrel is aimed at home users who want real barrel character in whiskey, rum or wine without waiting years. The charred interior gives spirits a toasted-sugar, vanilla flavor.

What does 'distillery grade' mean on a 2L charred oak barrel?

It's the seller's own wording, not an official rating. Read the listing for the wood source, char level and how it's built, and ask the seller if those details are missing.

• Before use: fill it with water for a few days so it swells and seals.
• Aging speed: a 2 liter barrel works faster than large casks, so taste it weekly.
• Spirit ideas: white whiskey, spiced rum, or a red wine finish.
• Buyer protection: eBay Money Back Guarantee.
