Mini 1L Oak Whiskey Barrel - Age Cocktails & Spirits with Wooden Stand & Spigot

About this barrel

Barrel-aged cocktails are a bar-menu favorite, and a mini 1L oak whiskey barrel lets you make them at home. Mix a batch of Manhattans, Boulevardiers or Old Fashioneds (leave out citrus and dairy), let it rest in the oak, then serve it straight from the spigot. The wooden stand keeps the barrel steady on a counter.

How long should you age cocktails in a mini whiskey barrel?

In a 1 liter cask, a couple of weeks is often enough. Taste every few days, because small barrels pick up oak fast.

• Spirit-forward recipes age best. Bitters and vermouth blend nicely with oak.
• Swell the barrel with water before the first batch.
• The char or toast level isn't given, so check the listing.
• Covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
