20L Vertical Wooden Wine Barrel w/ Faucet&Bracket for storing whiskey, rum, brandy

About this barrel

Shoppers comparing a 20 liter oak barrel with a spigot will find this one listed new at $95.50. It's oak, medium size, and aimed at whiskey, rum and brandy storage.

Is 20 liters too much for one batch?

That depends on how many bottles you want. Twenty liters equals roughly 26 standard 750ml bottles, which suits a shared batch or a small bar. It's still smaller than a classic full-size barrel, so flavor from the wood develops sooner, and tasting along the way is wise.

• Dispensing: the title includes a faucet, so you can pour without tipping the barrel.
• Support: a bracket is listed too; check the photos for how it holds the barrel.
• Weight: a full 20L barrel is heavy, so choose its spot before filling.
• Seal: soak first to swell new wood, then check for leaks.
