20L Vertical Wooden Wine Barrel w/ Faucet&Bracket for storing whiskey, rum, brandy

About this barrel

This 20L vertical wooden wine barrel stands upright instead of lying on its side. It has an oak body, a faucet and a bracket, so it fits in the corner of a bar or cellar while it holds whiskey, rum, brandy or wine. At roughly five gallons, it's a mid-size option for anyone who wants more than a tabletop cask.

How does a 20 liter oak barrel compare to a mini barrel?

In a larger barrel, less of the liquid touches the wood, so aging is slower and gentler than in a 1 to 5 liter cask. That makes it a better fit for longer aging and bigger batches.

• Fill it with water first so the staves swell and seal before you add spirits.
• The listing doesn't state a char level. Check the description or ask the seller.
• Measure your shelf to make sure the bracket's height and footprint will fit.
• Check the faucet for drips while the barrel soaks.

It's sold new by an independent eBay seller and covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
