3 Liter Oak Aging Barrel With Stand Bung And Spigot Wooden Whiskey Barrels Wine

About this barrel

Home winemakers and whiskey hobbyists can share this 3 liter oak aging barrel. It comes new with a stand, bung and spigot for $121.02.

Can you age wine in a 3L oak barrel?

Yes, but keep it short. Wine picks up oak much faster in a small barrel than in a standard cask, so taste every few days. Bottle it once the oak flavor is noticeable but still balanced.

• Fill it with water first and let the staves swell to stop seepage.
• Keep it topped up between samples to limit air contact.
• The title doesn't give a char or toast level, so check the details.
• Covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.

After a few batches of wine, you can switch to whiskey or rum, or use it to make vinegar once the oak flavor has faded. One small barrel can cover several hobbies over time.
