3L Oak Aging Barrel Mini Whiskey Barrels Age Cocktails, Bourbon, Whisky, Tequila

About this barrel

Barrel-aged cocktails are the best use for a 3L oak aging barrel, and this new mini whiskey barrel is listed for exactly that, plus bourbon, whisky and tequila. Batch a Negroni, Manhattan or Boulevardier and let the oak smooth it out before you serve it.

What's the best cocktail to age in a mini whiskey barrel?

Spirit-forward drinks with no juice or dairy work best. Mix the full batch, fill the barrel and taste every few days until it's smooth.

• Prep: soak it with water first so the staves swell and seal.
• Capacity: 3 liters is enough for a party-size batch.
• Dedicate it: oak holds onto flavors, so consider keeping one barrel just for cocktails.
• Details to confirm: the title doesn't give the char level or say whether a stand or spigot is included.

A fun upgrade for anyone who likes to host.
